Open Road Integrated Media has added more than 300 titles to its catalogue, acquiring the e-book list from Premier Digital Publishing. Premier Digital began publishing in 2011 and its list is mainly comprised of mystery, science fiction, and fantasy titles. The titles will be published under the Open Road name and through the company’s proprietary platform beginning in July.
Premier Digital’s authors include Piers Anthony, Alan Jacobson, Andre Norton, and Stephen Ambrose. Company CEO Thomas Ellsworth said the sale of its publishing line will allow it “to focus on our distribution technologies.”
The purchase is Open Road’s second significant content acquisition this year. In February it acquired more than 1,200 titles from E-Reads.
