Storytellers Agency, a literary agency owned by Swedish publishing group Bonnierförlagen and authors Alexandra and Alexander Ahndoril, has been acquired by the Salomonsson Agency. All works by bestselling Swedish author Lars Kepler, the pen name for the Ahndorils (who are also a couple), will now be represented by Salomonsson in all territories and in all formats.

“Our collaboration with Bonnierförlagen has always been characterised by innovative thinking, and our shared agency was part of that,” Alexandra and Alexander Ahndoril said in a statement. “It was created from an author’s perspective—and the fact that we are now taking the step to combine our perspective with the Salomonsson Agency’s unique expertise feels exactly right.”

Bonnierförlagen and the Ahndorils have worked together since 2009, and in 2013 jointly established the Storytellers Agency. The collaboration between the publisher and the two authors has spawned a business spanning the book publishing, film, and television industries in more than 40 countries.

The Salomonsson Agency, known as a Scandinavian super-agency, was founded in 2000 and represents roughly 40 Nordic authors writing fiction and nonfiction. The agency also represents screenwriters.
