As 2024 winds to a close, a couple housekeeping notes. Today's Preview for Librarians is the last regularly scheduled PW newsletter of 2024. We wish you a happy and healthy holiday season, and we'll be back in your inboxes in January.
On a personal note, this will also be my last PW newsletter. After 25 years writing about the business of publishers and libraries, and 16 years on staff, I'll be leaving Publishers Weekly at the end of the year to pursue my next adventure. I won't be going away entirely. I'll be launching a new venture in 2025. And you will surely see my byline again in Publishers Weekly in some capacity.
For the foreseeable future, my PW email remains live, so you can continue to reach me there if you're so inclined. Or, if you have a personal note, you can email me here.
Before I sign off for the last time, I want to extend my sincere thanks to my colleagues at Publishers Weekly, and to PW owner George Slowik Jr. And especially to you, the publishing and library professionals who have shown me such generosity and taught me so much over the years. It has been a wonderful ride.
I look forward to seeing you in 2025.
Andrew
