Scott Turow was elected president of the Authors Guild, with Judy Blume named v-p. Meg Cabot, Michelle Richmond, and T.J. Stiles also joined the Guild’s executive council.

Marissa Walsh has joined FinePrint Literary Management as an agent, focusing on children’s picture books, middle grade, and YA. She will also be acquiring pop culture, humor, narrative nonfiction, and memoir.
Ehrenhaft to HC Children’s
Dan Ehrenhaft has joined the fiction publishing group at HarperCollins Children’s Books as director of intellectual property development. He will help develop and commission original projects in traditional print as well as emerging digital formats. Previously, he was senior editor at Sourcebooks, where he created the teen imprint Sourcebooks Fire.
Promos, Hire at Alloy
At Alloy Entertainment, Josh Bank has been promoted from executive v-p to president, East Coast. Tripp Reed has been named v-p, digital production, a new position at the company; he will be overseeing production of original and adapted content for AE Digital, including building relationships with the filmmaking communities. Reed comes to AE from the production world. In the book division, Alaina Davis and Joelle Hobeika were both promoted to the positions of editor.
