Devin Kirk will join Macmillan on April 14 as the new v-p, international sales and marketing. Judy Sisko, v-p, senior director, international sales, is retiring in April after 46 years in publishing and 22 years of working at Macmillan.
Kim Shannon is named to the newly created position of v-p, director, adult retail sales, Random House. Adult retail sales at Penguin continue to be overseen by John Lawton and Norman Lidofsky.
Kim Bangs, a 20-year publishing veteran who has most recently served as senior acquisitions manager for Regal Books, has been appointed publishing director for Regal.
At Chronicle Books, Julia Patrick will be taking on the role of events coordinator. Previously she was the sales materials coordinator.
