Tom Cox has been appointed v-p, adult mass merchandise and distributor sales at Penguin Random House. He heads the company’s newly formed cross-company Penguin Random House mass merchandise adult sales division. The appointment follows the announcement earlier this week of the retirement of Ken Kaye, v-p., director of distributor sales, Penguin, at the end of 2014, after 45 years in the industry.
Pam van Hylckama Vlieg has joined the D4EO Literary Agency. She was previously at Foreword Literary Agency.
Lee Harris, previously at Angry Robot, will join Tor as senior editor in late summer.
