Following the news of Sarah McGrath's appointment as editor-in-chief of Riverhead Books, the Penguin imprint has announced that Jynne Dilling Martin will join Kate Stark and Catherine Lynch in the role of associate publisher. Martin, who has been at the imprint since 2011, will also continue in her role as publicity director.

Martin worked on campaigns for many of Riverhead's recent bestsellers, including Khaled Hosseini’s And the Mountains Echoed, Junot Díaz’s This Is How You Lose Her, Meg Wolitzer’s The Interestings, Masha Gessen’s The Man Without a Face, Chang-rae Lee’s On Such a Full Sea, and Peter Matthiessen’s In Paradise.

Prior to joining Riverhead, Martin was the associate director of publicity at the Random House Publishing Group, and has also worked at Simon & Schuster and St. Martin’s Press.
