Debra Polansky has been named publishing director, books, at The Reader’s Digest Association. She was previously director, proprietary and packaging publishing programs.
The appointment, effective immediately, will see Polansky leading the Studio Fun, Select Editions and adult trade businesses. Polansky, who joined the company in 2001, will report to Harold Clarke, v-p of Enthusiast Brands, books and retail.
Said Clarke of the appointment, “We are extremely pleased that Debra has agreed to take on this new role to help align our book strategies more closely with our brands, develop innovative products, and reach our financial and business goals."
