American Booksellers Association CEO Oren Teicher announced that long-time CFO Eleanor Chang will retire at the end of the year.

“It will be impossible to imagine ABA without Eleanor Chang. She has been an indispensable member of the ABA team for more than 25 years,” said Teicher. “Under her tutelage, the association has established an investment policy that has served us extraordinarily well: we have bought and sold property; we have operated an insurance company that provides coverage to hundreds of ABA members; and we have accurately accounted for every penny of ABA’s assets.”
