Following the appointment of Sabrina McCarthy as senior v-p, group sales at Perseus Books, part of CEO David Steinberger's restructuring efforts, the publisher announced further reorganization to its sales division.
Effective January 1, Keith Arsenault is taking on the role of director, Canadian sales for Perseus imprints and Perseus Distribution clients. Peter D'Erasmo is now director, airport and club sales across Perseus imprints, and for Perseus Distribution and PGW. Both Arsenault and D'Erasmo will report to McCarthy.
Jeanne Emanuel will fill the newly created role of v-p, special markets and custom publishing. Within Emanuel's group, Eric Green has been promoted to senior director, specialty retail, and Sonya Harris has been promoted to assistant director, specialty wholesale and mail order. Both promotions are effective immediately.
McCarthy also announced that YunWa Chan, sales coordinator, will be leaving the company.
