Sean Shoemaker has been named president at Publishers Group West. Shoemaker, previously v-p of operations and a member of the PGW executive committee, will assume the new position on April 1, following the retirement of Susan Reich.
Shoemaker joined the company in 1995, and has also held the positions of key accounts manager and director of account services. Shoemaker started his publishing career working at his family’s publishing company, North Point Press and also worked at Parallax Press prior to joining PGW.
