Coram Williams, global and U.S. CFO of Penguin Random House, has been promoted to CFO of PRH parent company Pearson, effective July 1.
In his memo about the appointment, PRH CEO Markus Dohle remarked that Williams "has played a vital and central role in the creation and evolution of Penguin Random House since the earliest conversations about a possible merger took place between our shareholders, Bertelsmann and Pearson."
Williams will continue in his current role until June 30, and, according to Dohle, "a successor for [Williams's] responsibilities will be announced in due course."
