Angel is v-p and executive editor at Farrar Straus & Giroux, where she has worked for seven years. She said: "I'm deeply honored to be joining Faber & Faber in this new role. Faber's place in English letters is unique, and its distinguished books are among the best and most daring in the world. I look forward to working with my new colleagues in ushering in Faber's exciting future."
Page, CEO said: "[Angel's] editorial and publishing flair and literary intelligence across fiction, nonfiction and poetry have made her a star of her generation and a perfect fit for this new role. ... Faber's publishing past and present has always represented a commitment to originality and literary excellence, and I am sure Mitzi's leadership of our strong editorial team will recast this for a new generation of writers and readers."
