Sally Kim Named Editorial Director of G.P. Putnam's Sons

President of Putnam and Dutton Ivan Held announced the appointment of Sally Kim to v-p, editorial director of G.P. Putnam's Sons, overseeing the entire acquisition process and editorial team for the imprint.

Before joining Putnam, Kim served as editorial director of Simon & Schuster's Touchstone imprint. In addition to overseeing the Touchstone editorial department, Kim has acquired and edited a wide range of novels over the past 20 years, including works by authors Gillian Flynn, Lisa Unger, Allison Winn Scoth, and Will Lavender, among many more.

Prior to Simon & Schuster, Ms. Kim worked at HarperCollins, the Crown Publishing Group, and St. Martin’s Press, and got her start at the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.
