Avery Books, a imprint of the Penguin Publishing Group, named Pam Krauss to the dual position of v-p and publisher of Pam Krauss Books, a culinary-focused imprint within Avery, and as editor-at-large for Avery.
Both Krauss and her eponymous imprint are moving to Avery Books. Before joining Avery, Krauss served as senior v-p and publisher at Clarkson Potter's imprint, where Pam Krauss Books was first housed. There, she focused on healthy eating and living titles such as Pure Delicious, The Book of Vegan(ish), The Moon Juice Cookbook, and Have Your Cake, by former White House pastry chef Bill Yosses. In her new role, Krauss will report to Avery’s v-p and publisher Megan Newman and will work closely with executive editor Lucia Watson to expand Avery’s cooking category.
In addition to building her imprint at Avery, Krauss will also retain her editorial association with several of her longstanding authors from Clarkson Potter, including Ina Garten, Giada de Laurentiis, and Alice Waters.
Krauss will begin her new position on February 1, 2016.
