A little more than one year after he joined Abrams in the newly-created post of publisher of Abrams Plus, Jess Brallier will leave the company at the end of the year.
Abrams Plus was created to house the publisher's gift and stationery line, Noterie, and its calendar, e-book, and digital businesses under the same umbrella. Abrams Plus was also home to the publisher's adult coloring books, but with the sharp decline in sales of that category as well as flat sales of e-books, sales in the group have failed to hit projections.
Abrams CEO Michael Jacobs said the publisher is still working on how the units under Abrams Plus will be reorganized, but noted that the company remains committed to Noterie, calendars, and digital, and is "looking at new models for driving the businesses under the Abrams Plus umbrella."
