The site features the company’s ten main imprints: AltaMira Press, Bernan Press, Government Institutes, Ivan R. Dee, Jason Aaronson, Lexington Books, Rowman & Littlefield Education, Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, Scarecrow Press, and Taylor Trade Publishing.
With more than 60,000 active ISBNs and a publishing plan of more than 1,500 new titles for 2012, it was the right time, said Linda May, v-p of marketing. “Our website team has created state of the art custom software to handle the various needs of our customers from providing a central site for our digital catalogs to increased publicity opportunities including links to author sites and blogs. The new website is just another step in our continuing mission to better serve our customers. The next step will be to open an e-bookstore in 2012 allowing us to accept orders directly from our customers around the world.” Orders will be fulfilled by the company's bookselling partners.
