Karen Rinaldi, who joined HarperCollins in May without a clearly defined role at the publisher, has been given a formal job; she will be overseeing a new health and wellness imprint called HarperWave, which will be housed within the Harper group.

HC said that Rinaldi has been readying the imprint since she arrived six months ago, and her team will include Julie Will, as executive editor, and Jake Zebede, as editorial assistant. The first HarperWave titles are set for April 2013, with reality star (from NBC's forthcoming Ready for Love) Matthew Hussey's Get the Guy slated to launch the imprint that month. Following in fall 2013 are, among others, a fitness title from Cameron Diaz, and a trio of branded books from Garden & Gun Magazine
