Simon & Schuster's new science fiction imprint, Simon451, has launched a writing contest for college students. The contest is open to U.S. residents who are enrolled in college and are at least 18, and the open categories are, among others, science fiction, fantasy, horror and supernatural fiction. Submissions are open from February 1 - March 15, 2014, and entrants must submit a 250-word synopsis of their work, along with its first fifty pages.
