Penguin Random House has introduced its newly designed logo, replacing the interim PRH logo which has been in place for the past 11 months, since the merger was made official.
The wordmark, per PRH, "underscores the importance of the written word to the company's culture," and will most often be paired with one of PRH's 250 divisions, imprints, and brands.“Presenting our new Penguin Random House wordmark side by side with each of our publishing imprint and brand symbols powerfully communicates what makes our company so special: our collective expertise and global scale coupled with our local publishing teams giving diverse and important voices a platform and audience," said PRH CEO Markus Dohle.
The publisher partnered with New York City-based design agency Pentagram to develop the new logo.
