Established in 1993, Olma Media Group is one of the most rapidly expanding publishing houses in Russia. Its catalogue includes fiction, nonfiction, gift books, and reference. International partners include Carlton Books, Working Partners Ltd, DAMI International, Hay House Publishers, Kingfisher Publications PLC, Michael OMara Books Ltd., Random House, St. Martins Press, Grupo Planeta, Parramon Ediciones, Oxford Publishing, Dorling Kindersley, and Falken-Verlag.
In 2011, Olma fully acquired OJSC Prosveshcheniye Publishers, the largest Russian educational publisher, for 2.25 billion RUB. It has branches in Samara, Omsk, Kazan, Ryazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhniy Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Perm, Ufa, Vladivostok, Kirov, and Orenburg.
In 2012, Olma sold 62 million books with 2,129 titles, generating revenues of 257 million USD.
