E-book publisher RosettaBooks has signed Ingram Publishers Services to handle its expanding print program. Roestta, which has been dabbling in POD titles for about three years, will distribute its first frontlist hardcover, the business book Moonshot, through IPS.
Rosetta said it plans to release roughly 15 print titles through 2015. Moonshot, which is subtitled Game-Changing Strategies to Build Billion Dollar Businesses, will be out on October 13. The title, written by former Pepsi (and Apple) CEO John Sculley, is, Rosetta said, a "transformative" business book that will be supported by a "major" marketing effort. An audio edition of the title, from Audible, will also be available.
Speaking about the partnership with IPS, Rosetta CEO Arthur Klebanoff said it's the first step in the publisher pushing a selection of "highly promoted frontlist titles." Rosetta will continue to use Ingram's CoreSource platform for the select distribution of e-books.
