Barnes & Noble has begun a test of the Espresso Book Machine system at three outlets: its New York City store at Union Square, plus stores in Paramus, N.J., and Willow Grove, Pa.
Sony Creates Literary Development Job
Sony Pictures Entertainment has tapped Ryan Doherty for the newly created role of v-p, literary development. Doherty, formerly a senior editor at Ballantine Bantam Dell, will be based in New York City and is tasked with “pursuing book-to-film-and-television opportunities.”
