Penguin Random House has finalized its acquisition of the Brazilian division of Santillana Ediciones Generales, Editora Objetiva. The deal was first announced in March, when PRH announced it would be purchasing the trade book business of Santillana, and the company closed the non-Brazilian transactions in July.

Luiz Schwarcz, CEO of Penguin Random House’s Brazilian sister publisher, Companhia das Letras, will oversee Objetiva, with Roberto Feith continuing as Objetiva’s general director.
