After the deadly explosion in New York's East Village on March 26, believed to be caused by siphoned gas lines, Princeton Architectural Press employees have been temporarily forced from their offices at 37 East Seventh Street.
PAP's offices are four doors down from where the explosion took place and after the smell of smoke and the ash that blew in through the windows, publisher Kevin Lippert closed the offices for a week.
“Although still without phone service or heat,” added Lippert, “the press plans to reopen Monday, April 6, pending the outcome of air sample and surface swab tests in the office.”
The press's email system is still active, and the press doesn't expect any titles to be delayed.
