Olma Media Group is one of the most rapidly expanding publishing houses in Russia. Its catalogue includes fiction, nonfiction, gift books and reference guides. International partners include Carlton Books, Working Partners Ltd, DAMI International, Hay House Publishers, Kingfisher Publications PLC., Parramon Ediciones, Oxford Publishing, Dorling Kindersley, and Falken-Verlag. In 2011, Olma fully acquired JSC Prosveshcheniye Publishers, the largest Russian educational publisher, for 2.25 billion RUR. The company has branches in Samara, Omsk, Kazan, Ryazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhniy Novgorod, St.-Petersburg, Volgograd, Perm, Ufa, Vladivostok, Kirov, and Orenburg.

The educational unit prints roughly 90 million textbooks and supplementary products per year.

The group released 2881 titles in 2014 with a total print run of 76,730,600 copies.

In 2015, the corporate name of the parent company was changed from Olma Media Group LTD. to Prosveshcheniye Holdings Limited.

Financial

In 2013, Olma’s trade and educational division reached a total print run of 106 million copies of 3,124 titles, which generated 324 million USD (10.04 billion RUR) in revenue. In 2012, Olma sold 62 million copies of 2,129 titles, with revenues at 257 million USD (8.26 billion RUR).
