Sourcebooks entered the personalized book category in 2012 when it launched the Put Me in the Story personalized book platform for children’s books. Now the independent house is adding a personalized component to Simple Truths, Sourcebook’s imprint for business, leadership and motivational books.

Simple Truths will now offer the ability to add business logos, names and specific messages to select Simple Truths titles. Organizations can put their logo or a short dedication on the cover of a book, add a message to the back cover or inside the book, with no minimum order quantity. Consumers can even add a long message inside the book. All features are available without having to pay a set-up fee.

Sourcebooks CEO Dominique Raccah said the personalization features added to the Simple Truths platform allows businesses to use the books as gifts to reward employess or as a form of business card to give customers.

Raccah said, “adding personalization to author and brand platforms on Put Me in the Story has allowed those books to be introduced to a whole new audience. Authors are seeing their sales grow, and we are looking forward to offering that success to Simple Truths books and other publishers’ titles down the road.”

Bestselling Simple Truths authors available for the launch of the new personalization features include Brian Tracy, John J. Murphy, Mac Anderson, Steve Siebold, Eric Harvey and Tom Feltenstein. More titles will be added to the Simple Truths custom books platform this year.

“From the start, our aim has been to innovate around the personalization of content,” Raccah said. “Simple Truths has always been about connecting with people who drive progress and change. Now, we’re taking it a step further so that our customers can drive home the idea that their brands intrinsically embody the qualities these books speak to.”
