The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) presented its 2013 Christian Book Awards at the just-concluded ECPA Leadership Summit in Nashville, Tenn. Winners include Jesus Today by Sarah Young (Thomas Nelson), which was selected Christian Book of the Year.
Other winners include The Action Bible Devotional by Jeremy V. Jones in the children’s category (David C. Cook); The Next Target by Nikki Arana in fiction (David C. Cook); Thoughts Make Your Heart Sing by Sally Lloyd Jones in inspiration (Zonderkidz); Jennie Allen in the new author category for Anything (Thomas Nelson); and Max Lucado in the nonfiction category for Grace (Thomas Nelson). The Chronological Life Application Bible (Tyndale House) won in Bibles; the Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament, Acts (Zondervan) won in Bible reference.
