Buddhist press Parallax, based in Berkeley, Calif., is searching for a new publisher following the recent departure of Rachel Neumann, who was with the company since 2002.
“We are looking towards the future and are very excited about our upcoming search for a new publisher, which will begin later this month,” said a spokesperson for the press, Earlita Chenault.
Neumann has since joined Shambhala Publications as associate publisher and is based in California’s Bay Area.
Parallax, which was founded by Zen master and author Thich Nhat Hanh, publishes books that “nourish happiness and show the connection between the inner and outer work for peace and justice,” including bestsellers such as The Art of Money by Bari Tessler.
