Self-help books continue to dominate Publishers Weekly’s Religion Nonfiction bestsellers list, this time with psychologists Henry Cloud and John Townsend appearing at #9 with the updated and expanded edition of 1992’s Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life. The Boundaries book series includes six other titles that, combined, have sold over four million copies, according to HarperCollins Christian Publishing. The publisher promotes the Boundaries brand via samplers and discounts on its website as well as on boundariesbooks.com.

"We’ve seen a resurgence in sales as both authors have continued to expand their speaking, consulting and teaching, and digital platforms," said David Morris, v-p and publisher, Zondervan trade books. "Boundaries is a fantastic title that people easily find on search and stands out on bookshelves.”

Rachel Hollis’ guide to empowerment in Girl, Wash Your Face maintained its #1 perch for the second consecutive month, while other self-help titles such as I’ve Been Thinking by Maria Shriver and Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst also charted once again in July.

In fiction, a pair of new releases by established authors debuted among the top 10. The second book in Colleen Coble's Lavender Tides series, The House at Saltwater Point, came in at #7 following pre-order incentives and a Goodreads giveaway, while Dead Drift by Dani Pettrey took #9.
