Fortress Takes Faith on the Road
Kathryn Helmers of Creative Trust sold world rights to Fortress’ Tony Jones for a new book series by Brian McLaren (The Great Spiritual Migration). The series, On Location, explores Christians’ role in protecting the environment. The first book in the series, The Galapagos Islands: A Spiritual Travel Guide, is slated for publication in fall 2019. New books in the series will be released yearly, written by authors TBD.
FaithWords Goes ‘Unquenched’
Keren Baltzer at FaithWords bought world rights from Leticia Gomez of Savvy Literary Services to Unquenched by Jonathan and Amanda Ferguson. In it, the husband and wife authors share their knowledge and experience with the supernatural, including angels, prophecy and revelation, and other dimensions of God’s power, according to the publisher. It’s scheduled for publication on October 8, 2019.
Discovery House Moves 'Closer to God'
In a world rights deal, acquiring editor for Discovery House Mike Nappa bought Closer to God by Bob Hostetler. The work of nonfiction will draw on stories and Scripture to “help readers know Jesus,” according to the publisher. Expected publication is May 2019. The author was represented in the deal by Steve Laube at the Steve Laube Agency.
