IVP Signs Enneagram Expert to Edit Series
Cindy Bunch, InterVarsity Press associate publisher and director of editorial, inked Suzanne Stabile, a master Enneagram trainer and a top-selling author on the topic, to edit a nine-volume, nine-author series of Enneagram Daily Reflections on the personality typing system and its path to Christian spiritual growth. Each volume will correspond with a different number in the Enneagram. Stabile “understands the intricacies," says Bunch. "Her wise and compassionate approach to the Enneagram will offer a grounding context for the series." Bunch notes that IVP has sold 500,000 copies of the Road Back to You, co-authored by Stabile. The Reflections series will begin releasing with the first two volumes Oct. 6, 2020.
Chalice Updates a Take on Anxiety and Racism
Chalice Press has acquired English-language and digital rights from Carolyn B. Helsel for her to do an, updated and expanded edition of Anxious to Talk about It: Helping White People Talk about Racism. The author will be adding new narratives and research to broaden the 2018 book’s audience beyond Christians. Helsel is a professor of preaching at Austin Seminary and an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). No agent was involved.
