HarperCollins Christian Publishing announced the promotion of Ryan Pazdur from associate publisher and executive editor to v-p and publisher of its Zondervan Reflective and Study Resources. In the new role, Pazdur will head both publishing programs, including the acquisition, editorial development, and overall title strategies.
Pazdur joined Zondervan in 2008 and has worked as associate publisher and executive editor since 2011. His projects include The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby as well as acquiring and editing authors such as Timothy Keller and Pete Scazzero. In addition to helping lead the Zondervan Reflective imprint launch, Pazdur has developed publishing partnerships with the Exponential Network, The Gospel Coalition, Saddleback, North Point Ministries, and Seedbed Publishing.
In a statement, senior v-p, group publisher, and Zondervan editor-in-chief Stan Gundry cited Pazdur’s education, pastoral experience, and editorial expertise for the leadership decision. Further, Gundry credited Pazdur as “the driving force in launching and guiding the Zondervan Reflective imprint” back in 2019.
Pazdur said, “I’m excited to step into this new role and continue serving our authors and readers by publishing books that encourage, challenge, and stretch their thinking while helping them better engage God’s Word in everyday life."
