At its annual gala, held in New Orleans, Louisiana, the American Christian Fiction Writers announced its 2024 award winners, including the Carol Awards, the groups recognition for the best Christian fiction published in the previous calendar year. In addition, the ACFW honored author Deborah Raney at the conference with a lifetime achievement award, and feted several more industry players, and also celebrated the winners of the 2024 Genesis Awards for unpublished works.
