The Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) has unveiled its U.S. lineup for 2024, with the festival returning to Houston, New York City, and Boulder, Colo., while expanding to two new locations, Seattle, Wash., and Chapel Hill, N.C.
The festivals offer a diverse array of literary events, panel discussions, and workshops featuring authors affiliated with the JLF, many from India or the Indian diaspora.
Sanjoy K. Roy, managing director of Teamwork Arts, the producer of JLF, said he was excited about the festival's expansion: "We are thrilled to bring the magic of JLF to more cities across the United States. Our goal is to create a platform for meaningful dialogues and to inspire a love for literature in every corner of the country."
This year's locations and dates are:
- Houston, Tex.: September 6 - 8
- New York City: September 10 - 11
- Boulder, Co.: September 13- 15
- Seattle, Wash.: September 20 - 22
- Chapel Hill, N.C.: September 27 - 28
In addition to North America, JLF has planned events in Europe:
- London: June 7-9
- Valladolid, Spain: June 13-16
