Scouting agency Maria B. Campbell Associates is expanding its London office, adding three new clients, all houses within the Netherlands-based VBK Group: Atlas Contact, Kosmos Personal Growth and Ten Have.
Katie McCalmont launched the London operation of the firm and, in 2015, was joined by Naja Baldwin. The new clients for the office will join the existing roster of France's Fayard & Livre de Poche, Denmark's People's Press, Russia's AST, Korea's Minumasa and Turkey's Pena.
Atlas Contact specializes in literary fiction and nonfiction and the authors they publish include Julian Barnes and Haruki Murakami. Kosmos Personal Growth focuses on inspirational mind, body and spirit titles, and they publish, among others, authors like Rhonda Byrne and Deepak Chopra. Ten Have publishes philosophy, religion and spirituality titles.
Maria Campbell, which is based in New York City, scouts for over 20 foreign publishers. It also scouts for Warner Bros., New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. TV.
