Digital-first publisher Totally Bound, which has been publishing erotic romance fiction since 2007, is spinning off its LGBTQ titles into a new division. Pride Publishing, which launches July 7, will focus on LGBTQ fiction, with much of its list projected to include romance titles.
Currently, about half of the 150-plus romance titles Totally Bound publishes each year feature LGBTQ characters.
All Totally Bound backlist titles that fit Pride’s parameters will move to the Pride Publishing website in July; authors of Totally Bound backlist titles include Bailey Bradford, Amber Kell, Carol Lynne (who has been with the press since its launch week), and N.R. Walker. Pride will launch with four titles, with three books scheduled each week thereafter for the next six months. Launch titles include Mashing, fourth in Sean Michael’s Beer & Clay contemporary BDSM gay erotic series, and Held Hostage, fourth in Morticia Knight’s gay erotic thriller series.
Like Totally Bound, Pride, based in the U.K., will release books in digital and print formats and will be distributed by Vearsa.
