She's the heroine of British actor-author Georgia Byng's Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism, a kids' book that made a big movie sale to David Heyman (who made the Harry Potter movie) before Christmas. Now the book has been won here at auction by HarperCollins's Alix Reid, who paid a "major six figures" to London agent Caradoc King at A.P. Watt. She'll publish the book next spring, about a year after it appears in London. It's the story of a girl who transforms her life by learning hypnotism--and is set partly in New York.
