Nancy Taylor Rosenberg, author of legal thrillers mostly published by Dutton, has moved to Kensington in a deal that reunites her with editor-in-chief Michaela Hamilton, who originally launched her at Dutton, and publisher Laurie Parkin, who as a sales v-p at NAL helped make her a bestseller. The two-book, hard/soft deal was signed by Kensington chief Walter Zacharius with agent Arthur Klebanoff at the Scott Meredith agency, and was for world rights outside the British Commonwealth, plus electronic, large print and book club. The first book, which will introduce a new series protagonist, a woman probation officer in California, will appear in 2004.
