Job Moves: February 28, 2013
Bob Campbell will retire as senior publisher at Wiley. He has been in publishing for 44 years.
Catherine Burke has been promoted to publisher, Sphere Fiction at Little, Brown, effective immediately. She has been with the company for three years.
Michael Perlman has been promoted to v-p, director, client sales & services at Simon & Schuster. He joined S&S in 2005 as national accounts manager for Sam's Club and BJ's.
At Penguin, Suzie Sisoler has been promoted to senior director of consumer engagement, and will oversee the consumer engagement group formerly known as the online consumer sales and marketing group.
Mary Wilcox has been promoted to the newly-created position of v-p and editor in chief of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books for Young Readers.

She is also the sales manager of the school and library market as well as handling the subsidiary rights market. Alyssa Mito Pusey has been promoted to senior editor from editor. Julie Ham will be adding the title of contracts coordinator to her existing duties of associate editor. Donna Spurlock has been promoted to director of marketing from associate director of marketing.

Amanda Ridout will leave her position as managing director at Phaidon Press to pursue personal projects. She has been with the company for two years.
