Irene Miller will not run for re-election for the Barnes & Noble board of directors, the company reported in an SEC filing Friday. Miller, one-time B&N vice chairman and CFO, has been a board member since May 1995.

Obituary: Tony Schulte, 82
Tony Schulte, whose long career in publishing included top spots with Simon & Schuster and Knopf, drowned while swimming in a lake at his summer home in Rangeley, Me. He was 82.
