Italian Book Sales Jumped 16% in 2021
Italian trade print book publishing generated €1.701 billion ($1.866 billion) in sales in 2021, a jump of 16% over 2020. Sales of manga more than doubled last year and translated fiction grew in popularity as well, with sales jumping 15% over the previous year.

Books Sales Rose in U.K., France and Germany in 2021
Revenue from book sales in the U.K. and Germany were both up 3% in 2021, while France saw growth of 20% overall, in part resulting from generous government incentives.
