The American Booksellers Association announced that Robyn DesHotel, former director of finance and administration of PEN American Center, Inc., has been appointed as its new chief financial officer, effective March 2, 2015. She will replace long-time CFO Eleanor Chang, who is retiring.
“We could not be more happy that Robyn is joining ABA,” said ABA CEO Oren Teicher. “Her background and experiences position her extremely well to strengthen our efforts on behalf of our members. Eleanor leaves a strong legacy here, and I’m confident that Robyn will help us continue to build upon it."
ABA added two additional staffers last month. Liz Button joined ABA’s content team as a writer/researcher for Bookselling This Week. She will also develop content for ABA conferences and events. Naya Moss is the newest member of the association’s technology team.
