    Mark Saunders has been named the new director of the University of Virginia Press, where he was previously the interim director and editor-in-chief.

    Farrar, Straus and Giroux has announced that Frances Foster, who has headed up Frances Foster Books since 1994 and has worked in children's publishing for over 55 years, is retiring after a long illness.

    Megan Sullivan has left her position as head buyer for Harvard Book Store. She will be joining America’s Test Kitchen as assistant editor in August.

    Stephanie Frerich has joined Nomadic Learning, an e-learning startup and online publishing platform, as editorial director. Previously she was senior editor at McGraw-Hill Business.
